im hoping tο modify a hiking bag ѕο thаt i саn carry essentials tοο, οthеr thаn mу camera.
Thе bag ѕhουld hаνе ѕοmе kind οf hiking pole strap bigenough fοr mу tripod іf need bee (аbουt thе size οf 3 hiking poles)
sleepingbag + tent + food + water




If you mean as checked luggage then none of that will be a problem.
If you mean as carry-on, the largest bag you can take would be about the size of a small backpack.

Sporting equipment
There is no additional allowance for sporting equipment; it can still be carried as part of your free checked baggage allowance, plus an additional odd-size charge if applicable. If sporting equipment is carried in addition to your free checked baggage allowance, you will need to pay extra baggage charges.

Anything bigger than about 30 liters you’re going to have trouble. I don’t know what kind of external inches or whatever that is because packs are measured in cubic liters. I generally fine my 33 liter pack is sufficient for a few nights of hiking.
