As an FNG to the TNP I first saw you on the all star shoot on the TNP. I would love to watch a WROL type ER medicine vid. . . like stiches, tissue adhesive, eye first aid. It would be great as an outdoorsman to be able to fix myself if I get hurt in the woods. Thanks Doc and Semper Fi

  9. USNERDOC says:

@TNPviewer – not as much as I was prepared for :-)

We each had two runs at the Sledgehammer. On each run we went thru 3 mags of 223 with 10 rounds each . . . 30 rounds per run . . . 60 rounds for the day.

  10. TNPviewer says:

How much 223 did you actually shoot when you were out on the sledgehammer

Very cool to see the range box’s. I am needing to update my current set up which is a messenger style bag. I hadn’t even thought about using a hard box, now you’ve got me thinking :)
Great to see some behind the scenes footage as well. I’m sure it’s fun for you to revisit this trip. Take care buddy

I picked up a surplus crate from Sportsman’s Guide (item #171363) and lined the inside with foam. I can carry 8-10 rifles in it, instead of needing all the separate plastic cases. It’s airtight too and built like a tank. I think it held warheads for some missile or something. Just a tip.

    @cornflake71 – I’m always looking for ideas! ;-)

Love the range box. Is that a Plano? If so, what model?

  17. Sasquatch7foot says:

I sure like those military ammo cans loaded, and I’ve got to get some of those big orange range boxes and have to find one of those Uplula loader. . . . . need to save my fingers. . . . Great video Doc as usual. . . . . Thanks for posting

  18. watrocket says:

I was curious, are those orange boxes readily sold as “range boxes” or are they just very well suited tool boxes? I liked them and want to see if I can find them or some other box that may suite me well. I currently use a small duffle bag where I can fit both my Glock 23 box and Walther P22 box, and several hundred rounds of range ammo, UpLULA, extra magazines, hearing and eye protection, and cleaning supplies. While this works for me ok, I am always looking for something better.

  23. Warbeast911 says:

u have a big ass car, me jealous ^^

  24. Cr0cket20 says:

Doc a lot of fun to see all the gear, I especially like those hard boxes. What a fun trip you must of had. Pretty cool just hanging out in the car like that (appeals to me in saving money on the hotels). Ha ha, you’re giving me the adventure bug. . . must – get – out. .

  25. buszero says:

I’m always learning from you guys. I’ve always carried a soft bag to the range, but your range (hard) box looks like it actually works better for all that stuff.
