Haha, this movie tells you what era it’s from: the Stallone PlayBoy, ha. . . . would be the final coffin nail: 80’s. But the nitpick about showing no sex: good, I miss when movies would edge real close and not do it. I think they took the approach that your imagination can create far steamier a scene then they could ever replicate. Graphic sex scenes suck the fun right out of movies I think anyway, unless the actors can really sale it.
Take Stallone for instance. His porno movie is atrocious, but when he’s making it with Sharon Stone in The Specialist: superb. Stone completely carried that scene though. These mediocre thespians could never pull off sex, they can barely sale dismemberment.
