Great Vid. , how much does the pack weigh empty with the frame?

  4. a227144 says:

Yours has to be the simplest, straightforward vid on how to pack what, where and how that I’ve yet seen. Thanks again!

@lowphoenix Okay, just thought I’d mention it.

  6. lowphoenix says:

@Vyppaaa11 Yeah, it took me a while to figure that bit out but since i’ve purchased a medium pack as well. Thanks!

  7. Vyppaaa11 says:

@lowphoenix Be aware that on the large alice pack the center pocket does’nt have the “slide threw” ability. But the two other pockets do.

  8. Pir8AdventureLeague says:

Still use the large ALICE for week long trips. I’ve sew custom bags for the outside that go threw the pockets and hook on to the loops for ten poles and other long gear.

@iawoodsman Thx. That helps me out a lot

  10. iawoodsman says:

@zujostix That pack right there is a Medium. A good 2-3 day pack. I would guess the capacity is around 3000 cubic in.

  11. zujostix says:

Hey. I’m a bit confused by those alice packs. Actually with their sizes. Mini, medium and large really don’t mean much to me. What size is your pack and what is the capacity (approximately)

you could paint a little red cross on your first aid pocket so people know without telling them

Great vid! I purchased a surplus ALICE pack a few months ago and have been messing around with it non stop ever since. I’m really glad you showed how you carry your axe. I’ve been trying to figure out how to attach mine so it helps a lot!

  18. kmango2 says:

What kind of axe is that?

I like this! Great video! Sadly. . . your great video has shown me that my stuff is far too bulky. LOL! Thank you for putting it together. ;)

@8ogles I am glad you like the vids I do. Thanks for the feedback. I try to make them as short and to the point as I can.

I know that coming from me probably doesn’t mean much but I have learned a lot from you. I’m not trying to blow sunshine up your A** but your videos are short simple and to the point without all the hype, talk and “romance” of other videos. Thank you very much for the information that you give all of us. Regards. . . . . Rob
