Mantronix was the Timbaland of the early 80’s. He rocked the 909, SP12 and was one of the first to use the Mirage sampler, now known as the Ensoniq ASR-10.

This song will always remind of the car shows at the sports arena in L. A. and of course summer time.
i remember whistling this song while walking in the hallway in high school, 3 girls coming the other way hearing me in the distance started singing the words as i whistled as we crossed paths. . . classic!

i remember this when i was at Grambling state on the powerlifting team when we went to dallas for a meet, in the hotel the radio station was using this song in a mix
and broadcasting live i think the club was called Teasers. It was on the top floor of the hotel downtown dallas very expensive hotel oh yea as i was writting it came to me. The Radision Hotel in 1989
