Nice video’s. . . You should check into some of the Mystery Ranch packs and do a review. A little pricey, but they are worth it in my opinion. Keep up the good work. Can’t say I agree with all your points, but none of us know it all and sharing information is how we all learn. Take Care

@ihatedean12345 The pack is truly a great deal for the price. Its got a great build and is constructed very well. The material is high quality and it fits comfortably but that also depends on the individual. There is tons of room and its designed so its very accessible. Ive tested it out when i went to Peru and it held up really nicely. I would definitely recommend.
@dfer0119 Was looking at that pack myself, how is the space and feel of that pack? Do you plan to use it for 3 season or 4? Been kicking around picking that one up or a Jansport Carson External Frame Pack. Just haven’t made up my mind yet.

you guys should check out the high sierra long trail 90 liter internal frame backpack. its running for about 100 bucks on ebay with free shipping. Ive just received mine and it is truly top notch quality. . . especially for the price. so if your on a budget and want an excellent internal frame check this backpack out. great video nutnfancy big big fan.
You should really try some Tasmaninan Tiger internal frame backpacks. . . I use the Pathfinder and it is outstanding it´s about 5200ci I think (85 liters) I´ve used it for a week at a time in the mountins in northern Sweden. . . Great vids and reviews nutnfancy! I went out and got a Kelty Trekker 3950 a year ago, and I use it on all my hikes. its so comfortable I take it fully loaded on day hikes. Great pack, and great vids man! Im starting my own vlogging adventure of my own.

looks like you prefer gregory packs. I was thinking about a Z65 for many uses i. e. lighter 2 day trips with capabilities for longer trips load weights around 45 pounds maybe 50 at the most. would it be a good choice?
I was checking those out at my local army surplus. for the prices I seen looks unbeatable,how do they carry? are they moderately water resistant?
when packing internal frame backpacks, you want to put the heaviest items at about the middle of the pack. that keeps the load close to your body and easy to pack.
i stuff the sleeping bag and the tent rain fly+tent body into the bottom of my internal frame pack, and strap the tent poles elsewhere.
on a few occasions i do put heavy items on bottom, though: when i’m on a steep descent, when i’m concerned about “crushing” light items, when i’m packing out more than i’m packing in (hunting).
Having done a lot of hiking I can’t imagine carrying something that big unless I had to. Even with a full school-style backpack you can get exhausted really quick when hiking long distances in the mountains. My suggestion to anyone who wants to go hiking with a pack like this is to work yourself up to it fitness wise before you embark upon your great crusade because it isn’t easy. And 2 walking sticks will help you a lot.

Hey Nutnfancy, you should Google the CFP-90 internal frame military backpack. I have one and they are the best internal frame I have used. It has big side pockets and an attached sleeping bag pocket on the bottom. It has a place to hold a water bladder with two holes (one on each side) for the tube to come down the shoulder strap. You can also obtain a day pack that attaches to the top of the pack. Lots of versatility, it’s sweet. They have the military version or after market version avalible.
Thanks ColdSteel for the support. Gregory makes outstanding packs, love them. And yes a good quality internal frame pack IS comfortable. There are some expeditions where this Mountainsmith has to be my choice for the trip.
Awesome pack man, For me internal frame packs feel a lot more comfortable on my back for long & light treks. On light 2 day excursions I tend to grab my Z55 pack, But for long adventures(more then a week) I tend to grab my AWESOME Whitney 95 pack. For me Gregory is the way to go, Ive had outstanding luck with them.
