    Beautiful kuksa pinewood!, You inspired me to get a piece of birch and try my skill, (or lack of skill!) My wood has dried for several months. Not much birch here in TN!

    @ihoppy To keep it honed, I use a piece of leather to strop (not that easy with such a blade, but a narrow strop works) then, If the blade needs a real sharpening session, I use a DMT diamond coated file/sharpener for serrated knifes and sharpen it carefully.

    Sorry, I’ve had problems with my comp, BSOD, then the last save was before i’ve changed the volume. . . the re-opened the file and compress it. . . I did realize the volume was too high again when you put the comment!

    Put it in a brown paper bag or small cardboard box and place it in one of your closets. If it dries too fast then put it in a plastic bag.
