@rugercat45 Thanks mate! I’m really glad I’ve inspired you! This is why I like to share videos. and I feel honored that you want to try it too! Hope you’ll show me the result! Don’t worry, I’m not skilled and this project made me discover something I do like nom a lot!! CH-eers and good luck!
Beautiful kuksa pinewood!, You inspired me to get a piece of birch and try my skill, (or lack of skill!) My wood has dried for several months. Not much birch here in TN!
@ihoppy To keep it honed, I use a piece of leather to strop (not that easy with such a blade, but a narrow strop works) then, If the blade needs a real sharpening session, I use a DMT diamond coated file/sharpener for serrated knifes and sharpen it carefully.
How do you sharpen that crooked knife?
Wow, thanks for such a nice comment! Appreciate it! CH-eers!
Your a wood worker you just dont know it yet

Sorry, I’ve had problems with my comp, BSOD, then the last save was before i’ve changed the volume. . . the re-opened the file and compress it. . . I did realize the volume was too high again when you put the comment!
Sorry about that!
Thanks ^^, Hope tonight i’ll be done with that one so that I can build a new one soon!
Did you use the same technique as me ?
great, yours is coming along better than mine
Good work!! It’s always hard when you do it the first time:) Just keep doing it and you get your skills up realy good:) (Just one thing. . get the music sound down:) It a bit high=)) 5/5
Okay mate! That, I will try! Thanks for the advice! Good night! (well night here, at least!)
Put it in a brown paper bag or small cardboard box and place it in one of your closets. If it dries too fast then put it in a plastic bag.
Good job buddy. . . . it is looking good! 5/5
Thanks for the tip! but how do I dry it slow? I mean it’s in the shack, everything’s moist there but the cup! any advice?
CH-eers Mate!
Looking good so far! If you dry it slow you might come out alright! 5/5
