The tent is if you need to stay outdoors after a hurricane. Yeah the TV will not work after June 12th. That is why I do not like or recommend using it for an emergency. I have a smaller radio now to use in an emergency. You can get a portable TV that does have the digital turner built in and will work after June 12th.
