Going camping tommorow lol
closed cell sleeping pad. . . .
ok but but you dont have to worry about . mtn lions, snakes, bears, and most spiders and we also have rougher terain thin where you camped at.
oh, and no fire either as it’s illegal to wild camp in the uk
xD
you guys must be soft in america, last time i camped out was in wales here in the uk it was 24 F (-4C) using an army bivi bag, a marmot hydrogen sleeping and the clothes i was wearing and it wasn’t bad
oh, and no ruger lol
kill stuff haha, jk idk, protection?? haha
wtf are you gonna do with that 22 lol
survivalist? and that’s all you slept with? I’d rather boil inside and have to slip my feet out over being any bit cold any day of the week.
I wish the comments were not turned off of so many of this guys videos. I like watching his vids and talking about b. o. b. and camping stuff.
I just got my first mre’s and those things aren’t cheep man. I usually use the 1 or 2 serving mountain house freeze dry pouches.
sugestions, im no wizz on this tho here is my tought : fire reflector, hammock, wool sheet
with the tent i have gets even whorse :-/ also most of the cold comes from condensation of the air in the early hours (2-4 am ) also adding lots of leafs under your floor matt is good (nylon thingy ) but id never put it in the sleeping bag tho .
i know those sleeping bag suck big time i have one
Being trained by the military I can appreciate his concern for ticks. However using a cover of leaves and a decent bed of leaves would have certainly made the night much more comfortable. Ticks can be treated but a cold night just sucks!
if you dont know how to take care of yourself.
Ive enjoyed watching your stuff for a while now. Keep em commin.
where do u live? because i live in knoxville tennessee and it is a horrible place for hunting , camping, and just shooting guns outside
Ticks are a real problem here. Stuffing your bag with leaves can be asking for big trouble. I would rather take my chances with the cold.
surprised you didn’t didn’t think to stuff your sleepingbag with some leaves. but by then. . they were probly a lil damp huh. wakin up cold sucks
man, looks like a good time.
200TH VIDEO! congrats!
your son looks camera shy lol
nice vid, cold nights are tortureous
at around 0 dark 30 I would have made my way closer to that fire!!! You can also use 5/50 cord to make that poncho into another bag to use on the outside of all your sleep gear. Good vid Kev, I’ll be waiting for your next.
Tip for Alice Pack straps. . .
. . . once the ruck straps are fitted to you, go ahead and 100mph tape the straps and their adjustment loops, etc. in place to prevent them from coming loose.
You might even be able to save the strap that took a shit on you.
This helps to prevent mishaps like having your ruck fly apart in the middle of a hike, road marches, etc.
Great video, man.
Have you ever considered making a video about tie-downs?
Another very good vid, kev!
