Thanks for posting this video, I had never thought of carrying seeds or gear to be able to mark trees with, that is smart! This gave me good ideas for stuff I don’t have in my pack. Thanks.

that is one very well organized pack! great vid!

  4. josephd27 says:

wow i cant believe u could fit all that stuff u would need for shtf in that back pack. is it comfortable to wear full and how much money u pay for the bag. thanks

The hollow handle survival is ok. You might want to check out a full tang knife. To mark your trail, try some blaze orange tape (small amount). The seeds was a great idea, good thought. Nice video. wtr7

Do not forget protein bars, bullion cubes etc. You never know when you will need the carbs quickly.

Nice vid. . . . . I would probably wanna consider a gas mask. I have been looking at the Isreali M15 NBC mask, I would also recommend condoms. None lubricated condoms can be used in many ways. Tampons would be good for fire starting and first aid as well. Maybe some emergency blankets (think sliver thinggies lol). I think I missed a flashlight and some batteries also in your vid.

the safety goggles & face mask is an excellent idea. i don’t think, in all the B. O. B. vids i’ve seen, i’ve seen that before. actually you’re using a lot of great things i never would’ve thought of. great vid. thanks for sharing.

@ascorpio09 Thanks for the comment, yes I have a compass its located in the knife & has been upgraded for more accurate use, the gps unit is located in the dry box. I mentioned both in the video. I recently purchased a rough use knife, head lamp, stubby axe, sterno gel, wool socks & cap & I added 2 folding fishing poles & gear to my kit. I think that will be about all I put into this bag as I don’t want to exceed 35 to 38 pounds. I cant imagine trying to get thru the woods w/ more than @ 38lbs LOL

@MilitantPIG Also, I think you have very pretty manacured hands. :)

Great thought out kit, the Seeds is something I never thought of but now I think I might make a little seed kit of my own. I am very impressed with how you put your kit together but I may suggest you get a better knife. That blade you have now is “All Show” it will break at the hilt at the time you really need it. Check out Cold Steel, SOG or Ontario, You want a Full Tang blade so it doesnt snap on you when your chopping. Ontario makes some great full tang blades that wont break the bank.

  19. awomansworld123 says:

@JeepCat The pack weighs about 32lbs, thanks for the comment

  20. vanrickenstien says:

Thanks for showing, this is awesome, finally someone else who has seeds in their bob, as you might have to permanently relocate awesome!! I personally am beginning work on my bob, and I’ll add some seeds to it, but you have to keep them in a suitable environment, I still need some flashlights and candles, I need them more than others because I have a genetic eye disease that causes night blindness and other things. This is the best bob I’ve seen so far ;)
