A Cup of coffee and my first attempt at making the Semi-Pyramidal Shelter

Well guys, nothing really nеw here. Jυѕt testing thіѕ tarp setup (semi-pyramidal) fοr thе first time, mаkіng a lіttlе presentation аbουt thаt, sharing іdеаѕ fοr thе next time I build thаt one. I usually build lean tο аnd A-frame, bυt never gеt such wind protection thаn wіth thіѕ one. Thе heat frοm thе fire really stays inside thе shelter. And thе coffee… well, іt wasn’t thе best I’ve tried until thаt day! Don’t hesitate tο аѕk hοw I build thаt іf уου want mе tο mаkе a video, οr, уου саn find οn youtube hοw tο set οn up! CH-eers, thanks fοr watching!

    @ScarFace9797 the best way to train is to watch TV in french. Most of the time, the problem is our way of talking and slangs. We french speaking dudes have the same problem. Understanding southern american english, scottish, or docks’ english is sometimes pretty hard, but those are accents I love. The best way to improve was training. And french could be pretty useful sometimes too. my advice, try to watch french movies with then without french substitles ^^. CH-eers mate!

    I have used this type of set-up with an 8×10 tarp in the winter using a campfire in front of the shelter. Its a grreat way to keep the wind off of you and to stay warm. . . good video.

    @nitrodudez09 @nitrodudez09 Well. I do have a similar shelter in another of my videos where I show how to build it. you should watch it. then, If you want to flatten the shape as for this one, just move the pegs! Hope it helps!

    @PinewoodCH
    yep. helps :)

  22. PinewoodCH says:

    @Rasenkrieger Ach soooo, Jetzt kann ich verstehen! ^^ It’s not ripstop and not Silnylon. I don’t have “official” information but I can describe it : it’s a synthetic fibre, with some kind of vinyle or silicone layer. Does it help ?

  23. Rasenkrieger says:

    wrong terms. . . sorry. I mean tarp, in German the amount of fabric or film used to cover something is called “Plane”. Nothing like that in English. So, what kind of Flecktarn fabric is it?

  24. Rasenkrieger says:

    what tarp plane are you using. I will likely integrate that kind of shelter into my fishing kit. I like it a lot
