I ѕtаrtеd thе Xmas shopping a whіlе back. I аm aware thаt thеrе аrе Playmobil sets, a lіttlе toy hairstyling set, a box οf stuffed Hello Kitties, a pair οf Automoblox, аnd…
And thеn іt kind οf goes blank. Thеrе аrе a lot οf boxes аnd people keep asking “And ѕο whаt dіd уου gеt hеr fοr Christmas?” аnd I sort οf mumble “Uh, Playmobil” bесаυѕе thаt’s аll I саn remember. I dіd nοt dο a “one BIG present” thіѕ year.
Iѕ thіѕ normal, οr dο уου know thе contents οf еνеrу last box?
I аm actually pretty hарру аbουt thе prospect οf being surprised myself.
(Doll toys! Alѕο a doll bathtub аnd doll tent аnd sleeping bag. Onlу јυѕt remembered those)

I purchased and wrapped all before Thanksgiving. There are a few gifts I have forgotten. I got a movie – pretty sure it is monsters inc – but am unsure. There are a few other gifts I am unsure of as well.
Don’t worry, girl. I forget what I get my daughter almost every year. She’s your daughter and I’m sure you know what she likes, so don’t worry! I’m sure you got her some great stuff that she’ll love.
Merry Christmas!
I remember most of the present that is under my tree, and I start shopping in January for Christmas. I wrap stuff has I get it, but I just every year remember about 90% of the present under the tree. I did a big present and a ton of little gifts.
Tina
I remember everything I got my 12 yr old because it was mostly clothes and electronics.
I have long forgotten most of what I got my 8 year old. I remember the stuff I wrapped today and yesterday. . I know I got them a lot of board games together but I can;t remember what those are either.
At this point? Nothing. Turns out the weather is supposed to turn for the worse on Friday, which nixes our plans of leaving for my parents on Christmas Day, so. . . we had our Christmas tonight, and are leaving tomorrow to beat the bad weather.
While they were still under the tree. . . yes, I knew the contents of each and every package, including my own, as I, yet again, failed in my attempt to not peek at my own this year. Some habits are hard to break.
yeah. they only have 3 each plus 3 other ones to share so its not hard to keep count. I have enough crap as it is, I dont need a truckload of new crap.
I did a ‘layby til Christmas’ back in July. I had forgotten a few things I had bought. I haven’t wrapped any yet though. So under my tree is a few baubles that have fallen off, and that’s about it.
the only reason is that I wrapped them a long time ago. . . so no, I haven’t really got a solid idea. there isn’t a ton of stuff – I know there’s a train set and and easel – but other than that I vaguely remember getting him a lot of little things that are a mystery to me now. I figured out that one oddly shaped package was this:
http://www. google. com/products/catalog?client=safari&rls=en&q=melissa+and+doug+flashlight&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=16562240798639012211&ei=o7USTfLpL4KClAeW2vz5Cw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=image&resnum=6&ved=0CEQQ8gIwBQ#
which I completely forgot about and am more excited about that than the other bigger things!
I know what is there, but there are only 7 presents total and that is for both kids.
I lose track of all the junk dad buys to put in there stockings. . . . electric toothbrush, candy, baby doll stuff, dress up hair, bracelets. . . . I know he brought home some other stuff, but I can’t remember.
Yikes! I haven’t even wrapped my daughter’s presents. I need to get on that.
I totally agree with you! I did ALMOST all of the Christmas shopping for our son, my parents, my husband and MIL and gave ideas for my FIL gift. When my husband and I were talking about it, he said I only got our son a few things. Nope, I didn’t I got him a lot of little things. I can only remember stackable cars that play music, numbers and letters that stick to the wall in the bath tub, and a Thomas the Train track (the train shakes as it goes around the track and it falls off) I have tons of other little things that I can not remembered, so like you I will be surprised when he and I open them. I am so excited K, its my son’s first real Christmas! I just had to put that out there.
I got all our Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. The presents are wrapped and are currently sitting in my daughter’s crib (she co-sleeps) waiting for Christmas Eve to arrive. I know everything we got them, but that’s because we didn’t really get them a lot. Just a few toys for each.
