How long is the camp? $60 sounds reasonable to me. (I think my parents spent more than that. ) There are a LOT of activities that go on, which cost money, food (we always ate in a cafeteria), etc.

2 day camps here in Australia can sometimes be $120. $60 seems cheap.

The cost of your children being brainwashed.
The cost of your children being alone in a distant camp with adults who could be predators and have God on their side.
These are cost that are way too high to pay for our precious children.

So that would be about $210/ week.
Our kids go to camp- not a church camp, but a Jewish camp.
It’s about 55 minutes away and cost $3100 / child per three week session, with a discount for subsequent siblings. So for one child, about $1,033 / week.

Don’t forget, they have to staff it (even if they have volunteers on staff, they still need first aid staff etc. ) support the camp, feed, teach and entertain the kids.

$60/ two days is fantastic. I will grant that providing a large group of people with kosher food is certainly more expensive than not, but $60 is still something I would jump at the chance to pay.

Our church just sent their kids away for 5 days and it was about 300 a person.
