mу family stays οn thе beach frοm аbουt 10:00am tο 4:00pmish. аnd wе stay іn a beach house rіght οn thе beach.

Sοmе οf whаt wе bring tο thе beach іѕ:
towels, sunscreen, toys, money(fοr thе ice cream man), phones, sometimes ipods, tent, beach chairs, sandwiches, boogie boards, surf boards, skimboards, tubes аnd i cant thіnk οf anything еlѕе.

This is a good article to read: http://mariovittone. com/2010/05/154/
It’s entitled “Drowning Doesn’t Look Like Drowning”. Its a very good read. It really makes you think. When I was at the water park last month a little girl almost drowned. She was approx. 2 – 3yrs old and followed an older cousin to the pool. If she stood up she would of been fine but she couldn’t swim. She also didn’t have a life jacket on. There were tons of people around her looking at her. She started floating on her back, her head was tilted back to get as much air as possible and she looked as though she was in shock. The people standing next to her had no idea. I read this article before this all happened and I was really glad I did. It’s common sense, but as I said it makes you think.

We spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer. Our kids are 3yrs and 4yrs. We bring life jackets but for the most part we just keep a close eye on them. All I can add to the list would be a beach blanket, food/drink and beach umbrella. You have mentioned everything else we bring on a typical day to the beach.

      Have fun! =)

With lots of kids going to the beach, it may help if you create a buddy system wherein a particular person is responsible for a child. This is to avoid confusion as to who is watching over who. There are plenty of risks when kids are near water so it’s important that there are clear rules with regards to swimming. For younger kids, you may require a life jacket when they are in the water. Make safety your top priority.
