Captain Obvious to the rescue!
My 2 sons and I have never used a tent. We cold weather camp in Alabama. If you use a tent the condensation will soak you . We put a tarp over us to keep off frost, and rain/snow. We get a few daddy long leg spiders but they cannot bite you. A good leaf litter bed with a slight “dugout” for your hips to be in line with your back, A few freshly pulled pine needles around my head for the aroma and if below freezing warm your eyelids with your fingers before opening them, and a full moon!!!!!
