   Good question. Each adventure requires different gear.

   My first serious tent was the NF Arrow. (3 season) I purchased used back in 1990. And I still use to this day, for late Summer trips.

   As far as (4 season) tents go, in the early 1990’s the NF made some excellent tents. So I was really sold on their 4 season Tents. The Tempest 23 was their entry level single wall tent, so I invested in it. It has been my fav for 15 years, and has done time on Rainier, Hood and South Sister.
