It doesn’t look any smaller than a 3 man tent that I see at Walmart. The only difference is the shape of it when it is packed. A normal tent would be about 3 feet long and about 4 or 5 inches in diameter, which is actually a better shape or configuration for strapping onto a bike or slinging over a shoulder on a hike, i think.

I don’t see any real advantage to this tent and it probably cost 2 or 3 times as much as a normal and larger 3 man tent.

@harrisisangry You’ll have to patch any punctures, but the material the air beam columns are made of are very thick, so the potential of that seems minimized.

what happens if the airbeads burst because of a rock, stick or an animal? (anything sharp) will it still stand?

Looks like something that I’m planning on buying. $300 seems a tad bit too much for a 1 person tent. I plan on touring a lot so this will be a good investment.

@Alflington You can repair punctures fairly easily. Haven’t done it yet myself.

    @danmoto73 Big adventure?

  10. Alflington says:

Looks cool. What happens if you get a puncture in it though? Is it repairable?

  11. AtlasRider says:

@robinphillips Yea they may a “2P”. Google them up and check out their website

  12. robinphillips says:

Do they make a 2 person version?

  13. danmoto73 says:

Daang that is the niftiest little tent.

  15. M3anMachin3 says:

very clever to use air-inflated beams instead of plastic rods. A bit expensive, tho.

  16. cybrnathan says:

That’s pretty cool. I’m just not hardcore enough to spend over $300 on a 1 person tent.

  17. L0udP1p35 says:

Neat tent. What is the MSRP on that?
